Setup Matters

Today's meeting would have originally been scheduled for last week but given that 4-July is the official low-explosive pyrotechnic holiday in the United States, we postponed for a week.

Today's meeting started in an empty room until I realized that I was in the wrong room and not just early. I'd barely gotten to the right room when we were off to the races for a quick 10-minute triage-heavy meeting.

During the last meeting, I volunteered to look at how other open-source projects on GitHub use labels in their issues. You won't believe what happened next! Or maybe you will; it's straightforward web research, after all.

Many people are excited that we shipped WiX v3.11 on Cinco de Mayo (5-May for monolinguals among you). Rob gleefully represented them all.

WiX v3.11 continues its march toward the finish line. We've had more than 10,000 installs of the WiX build tools and even more of the WiX Visual Studio extensions.

WiX v3.11 is proceeding apace. Rob has all the bugs and is yielding to peer pressure to get them fixed. We're still on track to release WiX v3.11 RTM on 5-May. The ship party will be held in our individual homes and offices.
