Setup Matters

It's been almost a month since our last meeting, as we accommodated Rob's absence two weeks ago by not having a meeting. However, our next scheduled meeting is scheduled for 14-March, or in the United States, 3/14—also known as Pi Day. We encourage everyone to attend live; virtual pi will be provided.

Your humble correspondent sits in the middle of the current polar vortex, overclocking his CPUs to huddle over for warmth, his typing slowed down by the thick mittens, but happy that the WiX Online Meetings are, in fact, online and he can stay indoors and still triage WiX bugs.

The US federal government is partially shut down, but the WiX Online Meetings continue apace. Open-source developers are used to working without getting paid.

Today's WiX Online Meeting is the first in 2019. So far, 2019 is feeling a lot like 2018 but we hope that will improve as 2019 matures.

Our last meeting would have been held on the Thanksgiving holiday (for US residents) so we skipped it. In the meantime, we had a fair accumulation of issues to triage on this, the penultimate WiX Online Meeting in 2018.
