Setup Matters

Today we had a nice mix of bugs and feature requests that was reminiscent of triage during the WiX v3.x days more so than the past few months of getting WiX v4 out to everybody. Nature is healing.

Today is Patch Tuesday the 13th, which I'm sure will be just fine and is in no way something to be superstitiously nervous about. Read on to hear about our successful launch of WiX v4.0.1 and the first discussion of the features that we're building in WiX v5.

Two months after WiX v4 was released—and one day after FireGiant's 10th birthday—WiX v4.0.1 is now available.

In the US, Memorial Day is considered the unofficial start of summer and the temperatures, at least for me here in the Midwest, are reinforcing that. It's hot enough that I'm staying in the cool indoors coding even cooler WiX features and occasionally summarizing our WiX Online Meetings.
